Overview

Stanford Health Care’s Clinical Nutrition Services is proud to host an annual symposium aiming to inspire and inform nutrition professionals, students, and multidisciplinary colleagues. This event will cover a variety of topics including discussing current practices of the nutrition care process, navigating AI and practice standards, overcoming behavior changes, providing care in specialized areas such as sports nutrition and weight management, and recognizing and addressing bias in care. By the end of the event, learners will gain knowledge on how to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in both inpatient and ambulatory settings.


ANCC Learning Outcomes

65% of participants will report an intent to change practice when caring for the patient with nutritional needs.

Learning Objectives


  1. Discuss nutritional needs for specific patient populations.
  2. Recognize health inequities and implicit bias and discuss strategies to address both during patient care.
  3. Develop interventions and nutrition plans of care based on evidence-based practice.
  4. Identify counseling or psychological methods or strategies to promote change in patient care.

 In-person registration includes continental breakfast and box lunch. Parking is not included and can be purchased by attendees upon arrival.
