2024 Stanford Respiratory Care Symposium

Stanford Health Care and Stanford Children's Health present the inaugural collaborative respiratory care symposium! Join us for 2 days of learning and sharing best practices of respiratory care across the continuum for adults and pediatrics. By the end of the symposium, learners will have an increased knowledge of current best practices for care of the respiratory patient.

1. Identify how implicit biases can affect perceptions and treatment decisions of patients, leading to health disparities in patient outcomes.
2. Identify and describe the management and risks of tracheostomy in the complex pediatric airway patient.
3. Discuss best practices in the management of Interstitial Lung Disease and Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia (BPD).
