Overview
The annual Stanford Health Care Stroke Symposium will provide all health care providers who care for stroke patients with a full day of presentations highlighting new and best practices in the care of stroke patients. This year’s theme, Interdisciplinary Collaboration in Stroke Care: Pathways to Optimal Patient Outcomes, will provide the learner with innovate strategies to improve patient outcomes focusing on teamwork and personalized care. By the end of the symposium, learners will have an increased knowledge in the assessment, management, and care of stroke patients and be able to apply these to their clinical practice.

ANCC Learning Outcomes

65% of participants will report an intent to change practice when caring for the stroke patient population..

Learning Objectives:


  1. Describe how implicit biases may affect the care of stroke patients and identify strategies to mitigate.
  2. List two best practices for care of the stroke patient using an interdisciplinary approach.
  3. Discuss the relationship between stroke localization and presenting stroke signs and symptoms.

Registration Fee:

Early Bird: $75 (register by February 21)

Regular: $99 (register after February 21)

Cancellation Policy: No refunds will be issued. This symposium will be recorded and recording will be available to all registrants for CE credit for 30 days following the conference.
