Overview
The learner gains basic knowledge for evaluation and transplant modalities considered for kidney and liver transplant candidates.

ANCC Learning Outcomes
  1. Verbalize increased knowledge and confidence in caring for the solid organ transplant patients.
  2. State indications of kidney, pancreas, and liver transplantation.
  3. Verbalizes grades of rejection for kidney, pancreas and liver transplant patient and possible interventions
  4. Outlines discharge teaching areas for patients post-solid organ transplant
  5. Describe how implicit bias may impact a patient assessment and treatment plans.
