Implementation of a Mentorship Program to Enhance Representation of Black and African American Staff in an Academic Healthcare System

This webinar will present the design, implementation, and long-term sustainment of a mentorship program for Black and African American staff to help organizations set up effective mentoring programs that support career advancement, engagement, professional visibility, and empowerment for underrepresented groups.

You are required to watch at least 75% of the video, pass the post-test, and complete the Evaluation to attain a CE Certificate. The passing score is 100%. There are unlimited attempts for the post-test.

1. Identify strategies and resources to launch a mentorship program in a healthcare setting.
2. Identify interdepartmental partnerships for program development to promote diversity.
3. Describe effectives ways to recruit mentees and mentors and reduce implicit bias by understanding the importance of mentoring underrepresented employees.
