2026 Stanford Health Care Clinical Nutrition Symposium

Stanford Health Care’s Clinical Nutrition Services is proud to host an annual symposium aiming to inspire and inform nutrition professionals, students, and multidisciplinary colleagues. This event will cover a variety of topics, including:

• diarrhea in ICU enteral patients

• enteral care from hospital to home

• bloating

• elimination diets

• plant-based nutrition, and

• burnout and fear.

The symposium focuses on a multi-disciplinary approach featuring clinical nutrition leaders, registered dietitians, and medical doctors. By the end of the symposium, participants will gain knowledge of how to provide patient-centered nutritional care in inpatient, outpatient and community settings.

1. Discuss nutritional needs for specific patient populations.
2. Identify best practices for enterally fed patients.
3. Recognize various gastrointestinal signs and symptoms and nutritional management for the respective conditions.
4. Describe how implicit bias may influence a nutrition assessment and clinical decision making, and identify strategies to mitigate these biases.

In-person registration includes continental breakfast and box lunch. Parking is not included and can be purchased by attendees upon arrival.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:
1. Cancellations made on or before October 6, 2026, will receive 50% refund. 
2. No refunds for cancellations made after October 6, 2026.
3. No-shows will not receive a refund.
4. Switching between virtual and in-person is NOT allowed.
