Overview
Calling all experienced inpatient and outpatient BMT/CT nurses! This course comprehensively examines the latest blood and marrow transplants (BMT) and cell therapy (CT) advancements. During this class, you will hear from world-class providers who will help equip you with the knowledge to provide exceptional patient care. Why is this relevant? BMT and CT have revolutionized patient care for various conditions, from hematologic malignancies to autoimmune disorders. Nurses play a pivotal role in this rapidly growing field. By attending this course, you'll be able to describe how immunotherapy cells fight cancer and gain a deeper understanding into how new BMT and CT therapies work and their outcomes. Additionally, you will be able to discuss the role of genetics in BMT CT care and how implicit bias can affect this. Participants are required to attend 100% of the course and complete the evaluation to obtain a CE certificate.
