PCCN- Day 2 and CCRN- Day 1 Certification Review

This is a combination day for the PCCN and CCRN Certification Review.

PCCN Certification Review Day 2: This is Day 2 of a 2-day intense progressive care review course intended for nurses who are planning to take the AACN-PCCN/K certification exam or as a clinical practice review seminar.

CCRN Certification Review Day 1: This is Day 1 of a 2-day intense critical care review webinar course intended for nurses who are planning to take the AACN-CCRN/E/K certification exam or as a clinical practice review seminar.

The lectures and time allotment are based on the exam blueprints and will cover all body systems, physiology, pathophysiology, assessment strategies and treatment options for medical and surgical critically ill patients. This course will benefit those who have critical and/or progressive care experience and need/want a clinical update and review of latest best practice and those who have studied and need/want a final review prior to taking the CCRN/PCCN certification exam. This seminar is not intended as a basic critical care course and is recommended for nurses with at least one year of critical or progressive care experience.

This is a Live Stream Webinar via Zoom.

**For the session, you will need a computer and internet access to view the meeting. Instructions on how to login will be emailed upon registration.

1. List the common cardiovascular pathologies seen in acute care.
2. Describe renal and electrolyte disturbance pathologies seen in acute care.
3. Recognize common gastrointestinal pathologies seen in acute care.
4. Identify how to assess and care for a patient with behavioral needs.
5. Discuss the AACN Synergy Model of Caring.
