2023 Advanced Practice Provider Grand Rounds

The SHC/SCH Advanced Practice Provider Grand Rounds is a monthly podium speaker session targeted towards all Advance Practice Providers (APPs), which provides the APP an opportunity to share professional knowledge by providing an overview and key components of their practice specialty, with hopes of generating discussion about their roles as an APP.

1. Discuss how the Advanced Practice Provider role contributes to better patient outcomes.
2. Self report that they are able to apply the knowledge learned in today's session to practice
3. Describe how implicit bias may impact a patient assessment and discuss strategies that can be used by the provider to minimize its effect in the clinical setting.
