2023 Stanford Stroke Symposium

The annual Stanford Health Care Stroke Symposium will provide learners with a full day of presentations highlighting new and best practices in the care of stroke patients. This year’s theme will focus on utilizing an interdisciplinary approach to improve stroke patient outcomes. Speakers include physicians, nurses, pharmacists, rehabilitation staff, flight team and advance practice providers. Special presentation to be given by a Stanford stroke survivor. By the end of the symposium, learners will have in increased knowledge in the assessment, management, and treatment approach of the stroke patient population.

**For the session, you will need a computer and internet access to view the meeting. Instructions on how to login will be emailed upon registration.

1. At the conclusion of the Symposium, participants will be able to describe the role of implicit bias in the treatment of stroke during pregnancy and the peripartum and how to mitigate these biases.
2. At the conclusion of the Symposium, participants will be able to describe 4 important elements for swallow screening tool selection
3. At the conclusion of the Symposium, participants will be able to implement a process for nurse-led study sessions to increase certification rates.

Early Bird: $75 (register by Feb. 28)

Regular: $99 (after Feb. 28)

Cancellation Policy: No refunds will be issues. This symposium will be recorded and recording will be available to all registrants for CE credit for 30 days following the conference.
