The Social Determinants of Health/The Role of Implicit Bias in Healthcare

The course will provide an overview of the primary drivers of health in the United States.  We will also discuss Implicit Bias, how it impacts healthcare delivery and how it contributes to health disparities.  We will describe how the Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) and Implicit Bias are related and what we can do to address each. 

1. At the end of the course the participant will be able to discuss the primary drivers of health in the U.S. and how Implicit Bias affects patient-provider interactions and health outcomes.
