2024 Pharmacology Series: Endocrine & Metabolic Disorders

The Pharmacology Series is a collection of 9 sessions focused on the most common medications used for specific patient populations. Each webinar session is taught by a pharmacist from SHC. In this session, learners will be provided an overview of the most common Endocrine & Metabolic Disorder drugs. The 1-hour course will also review the indication for use and common side effects of these medications. Upon completion of this course, you will need to score 75% or higher on a post-test to obtain your CE credits.

1. Identify the most common medications prescribed for patients under the care of endocrine and metabolic disease service/clinic.
2. State that they can apply information from the session to their practice.
3. Discuss how implicit bias may affect treatment decisions for this particular patient population
