APP Grand Rounds September 2024 - Professional Project Presentations

This lecture, "Professional Project Presentations" provides Advance Practice Providers background data and key stakeholders which influenced the decision to pursue the APP Fellows’ A3 process improvement projects. The course emphasis will identify opportunities for outcome measures for each APP Fellow project and potential next steps of the work. APPs will be able to apply these PI projects’ processes to their own clinical settings.

1. Identify the background data and key stakeholders influencing the decision to pursue the APP Fellows’ A3 process improvement project.
2. Recognize the need for the described intervention and opportunities for outcome measures for each APP Fellow project.
3. Describe potential next steps of the work and consider application of these PI projects’ processes to their own clinical settings.
4. Acknowledge the potential impact and consequences of implicit bias as it relates to the APP Fellows’ projects.

1. Acknowledge the potential impact and consequences of implicit bias when evaluating events and simulations for system weaknesses.
2. Identify ways to evaluate the system in which they work.
3. Recognize the need for the described intervention and opportunities for outcome measures for each APP Fellow project.
4. Describe potential next steps of the work and consider application of these PI projects’ processes to their own clinical settings.
