Charge Nurse Leadership Development Workshop

Charge nurses play a pivotal role in providing leadership on their units. This half-day virtual workshop introduces new charge nurses to essential leadership skills necessary to grow in their professional practice role. The art and science of leadership strategies are integrated within the AONE Nurse Manager Learning Domain Framework, Professional Role framework, and Jean Watson’s Caring Science Theory. Topics for discussion include charge nurses as front line leaders, managing clinical aspects of the nursing unit, the art of leading people, and self–renewal for charge nurses.

**For the session, you will need a computer and internet access to view the meeting. Instructions on how to login will be emailed upon registration.

Fees:  Complimentary to SHC employees.
