Overview

This half-day virtual workshop is designed for the Advanced Practice Provider who is interested in becoming a preceptor to either an APP Fellow, a new APP and/or an APP student. The workshop is designed as an introductory course to the role of the preceptor as well as a review for seasoned preceptors. Participants will learn about the role of the preceptor in assisting fellows, new graduates, or students in becoming competent and effective professional providers by utilizing appropriate adult teaching styles and effective communication strategies. The goal of the workshop is to provide tools and strategies to participants to be used to facilitate an effective precepting relationship.

**For the session, you will need a computer and internet access to view the meeting. Instructions on how to login will be emailed upon registration.
