Overview

Day 1: Thursday, March 2 @ 8:00 am - 4:15 pm
Day 2: Friday, March 3 @ 8:00 am - 1:15 pm

This one and a half-day virtual conference will focus on new strategies for cancer treatment, including immunotherapy and targeted therapies, CAR-T therapy, management of neuro-toxicities, infectious complications and psychological effects. By the end of this conference, learners will be able to apply their knowledge to their practice when managing short and long-term side effects of cancer and cancer treatments in patients they care for.

**For the session, you will need a computer and internet access to view the meeting. Instructions on how to login will be emailed upon registration.


ANCC Learning Outcomes
  1. Identify best practice in symptom management in the care of the cancer patient.
  2. Discuss how to diagnose and manage patients with COVID in the setting of BMT or hematologic/oncologic comorbidities.
  3. Identify neurotoxicities associated with various chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments.
  4. Describe appropriate antibiotic therapy for the oncology patient who is diagnosed with one or more infections.
  5. Indicate when unintended biases may contribute to decisions made when caring for a patient, and how to mitigate those biases.

**Sessions will be recorded and made available for reviewing 60 days after the conference has concluded.
