Crossing Borders: Showcasing Research from Academia to Practice

This course will discuss the role of nursing science and how nursing research impacts practice across various institutional settings. Nurse researchers from different Sigma chapters will present their EBP and research studies. Attendees will learn about how nurse led research advances the nursing profession and clinical practice and be able to use that knowledge for their healthcare work environment.

This is a virtual class via Zoom.

**This will be a live webinar and you will need a computer with internet access to view the meeting.  Instructions on how to login will be emailed one week prior to the course. 

1. Discuss the importance of nursing research and its translation from academia to nursing practice.
2. Discuss how implicit prejudice or implicit attitude influences patient outcomes
3. Identify steps to conducting nursing research.
