Overview
he APP Grand Rounds lecture “Pulmonary Hypertension: A Collaborative Approach to Clinical Diagnosis and Patient Disease Adjustment” is targeted towards all Advance Practice Providers, and aims to provide an overview of the key components of caring for patients with pulmonary hypertension (PH). The course emphasis is includes the various etiologies of PH, the differences between arterial & venous pulmonary hypertension, and treatment options. The APP will be able to apply the knowledge learned in this presentation to treat patients with PH with the understanding of timely referral to Pulmonary Hypertension specialists. The APP with also gain a broad understanding of the medical and psychosocial aspects that contributes to the patient's overall capacity and success.

ANCC Learning Outcomes
  1. Self report they are able to apply the knowledge learned in today's session to practice.
  2. Discuss how the Advanced Practice Provider role contributes to better patient outcomes.
